2. The problems, symptoms or ailments you were troubled with prior to chiropractic care: Fibromyalgia and leg spasms. My muscles became stiff and my joints felt sore and painful on both sides of the body. I also have arthritis, osteoarthritis, “wear and tear” aches and pains.

4. The number of doctors seen and the type of drugs taken (if any) for these problems: I’ve seen about 10 doctors, took Tylenol, Advil (400mg), Celebrex, Vioxx, Baclofen, Analgesic,s Zostrix, Capzasin, and also (virosupplements) for Infections
5. The extent to which your normal life was interrupted due to these health problems: I couldn’t squat and come back up without putting my hand on a chair. I couldn’t walk a mile without excruciating deep seated, aching right hip pain. I couldn’t bend over. It was hard getting out of a chair. I had chronic low back and sciatic leg pain.
6. The length of treatment in visits or time before the results of chiropractic care became apparent: My pain subsided and I started to feel relief after the first adjustment. There was also improvement in my range of motion after 2 weeks.
7. Your impression of the general health benefits of chiropractic care and specifically, how it helped you. It helped because it relieved my back pain and I believe the spinal adjustments done by the chiropractor also relieved my arthritis pain by improving the alignment of my joints.

The extent to which your normal life was interrupted due to these health problems: The worst moment was waking up in the morning and feeling tired already and realizing that I still have a whole day to go. I couldn’t focus at work because of the constant nagging pain in my lower back, which as a result, was taking more time to complete assigned tasks and I had to work late. I couldn’t enjoy playing my favourite game – soccer. I couldn’t run as fast as I used to, felt more tired after the game, couldn’t score a goal and felt irritated to the point when I started to think to give up playing altogether.

7. Your impression of the general health benefits of chiropractic care and specifically, how it helped you. Headaches ad back pains went away. I have better sleep and feel well rested in the morning. I became more productive at work. As to the soccer, I noticed that I got a better control of the ball and have finally started scoring goals.

Positive impression. Underrated. Chiropractic care has made me believe that the body can heal itself if the central nervous system is permitted to communicate to organs.

Healing period is faster! Although the lower back still hurts sometimes, the body is designed to heal itself!

I had a sore upper back that needed to be adjusted every couple of minutes. Also, numbness in my right hand.

I’ve seen about four doctors and was prescribed Naprosen and Celebrex.

My recreational pursuits were affected.

I noticed an improvement in my back almost immediately. After about seven sessions, my back issues seem non-existent.

Too many to count—Allergist, ENT, Neurologist, . . .over the counter medicine, countless migraine drugs, botox injections. . .

A lot—Frequent canceling of plans with friends, leaving work early or coming in very late.

About 3 or 4 months when I saw a noticeable difference—For a whole week, I didn’t take any Tylenol or Advil.

Great! There is a way to help you feel good and healthy without taking medicine!! It takes a commitment from the patient, but it is worth every dollar and minute!

After about five visits the soreness and stiffness in my wrists, neck and shoulders lessened; my knees became less sore after basketball.

Chiropractic care has increased my overall energy levels and has given me a way to find the cause of my symptoms, which I can now finally part with.

Mostly shoulders and neck pains (coming from working on computer most of the day). Occasionally back pains

I had pains on the shoulders, neck and wrists all day long, and it interfered in my mundane activities. Often, I couldn’t even move my neck into one way for several days.

I started to feel the effects of the treatment in a month, and since then, I barely felt pains on the shoulders, neck or wrists.
7. Your impression of the general health benefits of chiropractic care and specifically, how it helped you. I definitely feel that the treatment has improved my health drastically. Not only do I not feel pains, but also I feel good and better overall. Some of my friends in the same profession struggle with similar problems. I have been recommending them to get chiropractic treatments.

Two areas of back pain . My lower back and my thoracic area . I was also suffering from fatigue which is a side affect of MS.

My back problems had flared up about 4 months prior to my first visit. I was first diagnosed with MS in 1996 and the symptoms of fatigue are recurring .

I have a family doctor and a neurologist that I see and I am lucky that I do not need drugs for my MS.

The back pain that I suffer always make me conscious of what I am doing . I will try to adjust my activities as to not cause more back pain.

It took about six to seven months for my symptoms to settle down . My bouts of fatigue
have also been less frequent.
7. Your impression of the general health benefits of chiropractic care and specifically, how it helped you:
Chiropractic treatment has given me more energy and the ability to do the activities that really
matter to me. One of the activities that I enjoy is cycling and this spring I have been able to ride faster and further than I have in the past 2 years.
